Don’t Laugh At Me

I got promoted to Customer Service Manager at Wal-Mart! I’m totally thrilled about it. I was so happy when they took me into the office and made it official. Turns out that everyone had already known, and I knew too, but I didn’t know it was official yet. It gave me a $1.10 hour raise and a lot of new responsiblities. I’m really happy about it. I start officially on this Saturday but I was helping out the nite CSM last night since I discovered my operator number would work for a supervisor override.

I also discovered that I get Wal-Mart email. So I’ll get to keep up with the latest Home Office gossip and the like. That should be nice. Haha. I’ll just have to remember to read it so that it doesn’t add up to like 10,000 messages. Lol. Anyhow, I guess I’m real excited. Everyone says that Wal-Mart is so bad, but I’ve been there for 8 months and I’ve received 2 raises totalling $1.50. That’s not bad. And I’m due one in 4 more months for my annual.

Wal-Mart sure isn’t rolling back wages. People need to just shut up and let them go. They’re providing a way to live for many people.
